316
In this edition of The Smoke Hatch podcast Matt attempts to wrangle the reins of the show himself. Albeit a struggled effort from Matt, "316" certainly delivered 'the goods' in a time-bending, mind-warping episode of LOST.

I enjoy your podcast very much even going solo without Steve. My only *ICK* moment was when you made reference to "it's just strange that a physicist such as Daniel would actually say 'Thank God'". You are assuming that people of science can not have faith. Some of the greatest physicists and scientists of the past and present believe in a Higher Power. Belief does not exclude reason, Wayne.
TimeIsRelative, You are 100% correct. I should have chosen my words more carefully. Ultimately I was trying to point out that Hawking, Faraday, and Ben seem to be "of faith". Ironically, they are also three people who know what the hell is going on. I did listen to the show and you are right, "ICK". I'm just surprised you only thought there was one. I cringed through the whole program. Regardless, thank you for the constructive feedback. I need to be put in check sometimes. Thanks for listening!

I loved Ms. Hawking's classroom session. I thought it was very cute that the scene was set up that way... even telling Jack to pay attention, and also Ben's comment later that Jack got to stay after school. I enjoy Ms. Hawking and all her dramatic ways. I think she would be much less interesting if she just droned on in boring, everyday tones. On a slightly different note... I cracked up every time Desmond kept carelessly charging back and forth just daring that pendelum to hit him! It was great! I hope there are some blooper reels of that on the DVD. :)
